The Hotel & Restaurant Management program prepares students for opportunities in one of the largest and fastest growing industries. Providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary to adapt to a continuously changing hospitality work environment.

The curriculum prepares students to think, to make decisions, to interact effectively, to use creativity to solve problems, and to communicate using the latest technology. The skills of writing, listening, and speaking are important components of all Hospitality Management courses and programs.

According to the Travel Business Roundtable, the multi-billion dollar hospitality industry is the world’s largest employer. And according to the World Travel & Tourism Council, the U.S. Travel & Tourism Industry is expected to generate over 4% of the Gross Domestic Product and more than 6 million jobs. The forecast for travel and tourism demand is strong with over 4% growth per year through 2014. The restaurant industry alone employs more than 12 million people in over 800,000 locations, with over $400 billion in sales, and continues to grow.
