Our Mission

Briarwood College is a student-centered private institution for men and women that fosters and encourages a commitment to learning throughout their lives.

The College is committed to the application of knowledge through a curriculum that is career and technically oriented with an emphasis on the liberal arts and an awareness of the challenges and opportunities that a global economy offers.

The Mission of the College is to provide an education that is practical in its application, yet stresses the need for students to use the resources of their own minds, with particular emphasis on the development of the self through discipline, responsibility and strength of expression.

The College is committed to make a difference in the community of which it is a part. To this end, it encourages and allows faculty, staff and students to participate in outreach and service programs designed to focus on the competitive challenges of diverse environments, both locally and globally.
