WILDCATS ATHLETICS

Briarwood College Athletic programs endorse the educational mission statement of the college by providing additional opportunities for the student-athlete. The athletic program at Briarwood College consists of both intercollegiate and intramural athletics. Students participating in athletics share the same qualities of determination, hard work, and teamwork, that lead to success in the academic classroom.

Intercollegiate Athletics

Our intercollegiate athletic programs take great pride in competing at the Division III level of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Our membership allows us to participate in the New England Region (Region XXI), which includes many other two-year institutions. This conference also allows the student-athlete the opportunity to participate in regional and national post-season tournaments, as well as qualify for all-conference and all-region recognition.

To be eligible, students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours, maintain a specific grade point average, and comply with eligibility criteria of the NJCAA.
